Curren$y Drops The Music Video For His Song “300 Thousand”

New Orleans based rapper Curren$y has released the music video for his song “300 Thousand.” The song can be originally seen on his project titled Fire In The Clouds, and he’s dropped the new visual to further promote the new project.

Produced by Drupey Beats, the instrumental is highly trap-based. This can be heard with featured elements showcasing prominent hi-hats and snares. The song also has a filtered synth lead, which incorporates a sound smoothly sliding to different notes to maintain an dark effect from start to finish.

Curren$y benefits greatly from the rather simplistic instrumental by rapping lines that are repetitive and catchy. This is especially heard in the chorus with lyrics such as “300 thousand it came with two umbrellas.” The ad-libs added during his verses also provide greater depth to his overall delivery. Check out the new video below!
