Das Energy 2018 Announced!! Ft. Kaskade, Deadmau5, Ress + More

Feel The Energi in Salt Lake City W/ Kaskade, Deadmau5, Dillon Francis, Rezz on Aug 17-18

The announcement that shocked the world. The seemingly chill and quiet city of Salt Lake, nested in the state of Utah, blasted their first lineup phase of their next festival, the same day that their most recent one started.

“V2 Presents”, the company behind Get Freaky and Get Lucky revealed the lineup in secret at the Great Saltair with posters and flyers hung all over the event center. The first phase includes none other than Deadmau5, Rezz, Kaskade, and Dillon Francis.

Das Energi’s parent company V2 Presents has been producing electronic music events in Utah since 2003 and steadily brought the scene from the underground to the mainstream. While overcoming obstacles and relentlessly pursuing their visions, V2 Presents has created a tightly knit scene in Utah.

Das Energi 2018 will take place on the shores of The Great Salt Lake at The Great Saltair on Friday and Saturday, August 17th & 18th. Tickets aren’t looking so bad right now, however they won’t last very long so make sure to get them as soon as possible!

Predictions on the next headliners:

It is safe to say, since they performed at last year’s festival, Zedd, Diplo, Knife Party, and Adventure Club won’t be performing. Now, this is typically an anomaly but you can see that Rezz performed last year at Das Energi. This happens but not very often. Maybe we’ll see one or two from last year’s but it’s unlikely. We probably won’t see Kai Wachi, Black Tiger Sex Machine or Lektrique because they are touring and stopping in Salt Lake City around the time of the festival as well.

Who might we see? There’s a possibility of seeing Kayzo, Rickyxsan, and Virtual Riot, as well as Eptic, Griz, Snails, or even Yellow Claw. Hopefully we’ll see Quix, K?d, and maybe even Doctor P.
