Tree Factory Co-Owner David Garcia Talks Launching A Delivery Service and Multiple Dispensaries on Episode Three of the North American Weed Tour Podcast

On this episode of the North American Weed Tour Podcast, Mitch and Joey sit down with the co-founder of Tree Factory, David Garcia. “Built from scratch” would be a good term for Tree Factory, since Garcia and his partners built the company from the ground up. From a start-up in a garage to a full-fledged cannabis company with a dispensary and delivery service, David’s company is a true underdog story.

The North American Weed Tour Podcast streams every Sunday, as well as Wednesdays, at 11 AM Pacific Time. David Garcia & Tree Factory

David sheds tons of light on budtending, making this a great episode about cultivation. Once again, Tree Factory started from the ground up, also making this a good resource for grassroots entrepreneurs. There were a lot of barriers and oppressing bodies that made their growth a bigger challenge; one which they overcame successfully.

Garcia and his partners started in 2015 in Ventura County, California. They saw an opportunity to outclass shadier and less reliable cannabis retailers. Their first business was out of a garage on Saviers Road as they delivered their goods directly to customers. Delivery was both safer and easier to have approved, he explains. They’ve since grown into a fully licensed delivery in Ventura County with a dispensary in Port Hueneme. David is also co-owner of The Roots in Lompoc, CA.

Tree Factory stresses consistency with growing. It’s important to maintain the same quality of product always. Additionally, being in touch and getting along with other growers as the industry was expanding helped them a lot. Definitely tune in for this episode to see what it’s like building something from nothing.
