DNA Gardens created an interesting LA Cheesecake shatter. Whether you’re a shatter fan or not this product deserves some attention. It was hard to track down exact genetic information on LA Cheesecake, but my best guess is LA Confidential crossed with the Cheesecake strain (obviously) but it could be LA Confidential crossed with a Cheese and something else.
Shatter is void of terpenes, so there are no aromas to pick apart, which can be unfortunate, but don’t let that dissuade you from enjoying a slab of shatter from time to time. What this strain lacks in smells it makes up for in taste and effect.
Melting these golden slivers released strong floral and cheesy-funk flavors. While you can’t smell any terpene profile, it shines through the flavor. LA Cheesecake left me with a stony scattered head high with a jolt of energy behind it.
