After releasing an amazing project titled Rap n Roll back in 2020, the rapper has been staying low-key ever since. Throughout the years, Dom Kennedy has released a bunch of solid singles as well. However, now fans of Kennedy have been presented with his new project, which is called From the Westside With Love Three.

‘From the Westside With Love Three’ Features Amazing Textures and Clever Bars
This new project features 15 solid tracks with a runtime of about 42 minutes. From the Westside With Love Three features contributions from Quentin Miller, Kay Franklin, as well as TeeFLii and Bryan Roberts. Huge artists Don Toliver and Hit-Boy have also been awaiting the release of this highly-anticipated project, revealing their excitement on social media.
The promotion for this record was also very minimal, leaving a lot unsaid since the end-of-summer announcement. However, with solid bars and amazing beats, Dom Kennedy is letting his new project speak for itself.
The project opens up with a track called “Still Grind’n.” This song features an intro of warbly, heavily-affected keys. Once the hi-hats kick in, Dom Kennedy enters. He confidently spits over this track, repeating the bar: “I bounce back then I put in work.”
The song “Deep Thought” includes some incredibly lush production as well. With heavy low end and some airy chords, this song features Dom Kennedy in a more low-key setting. He adopts a flow that perfectly compliments this beat, with Kay Franklin adding some incredible vocal runs toward the end of the track.
Dom Kennedy Follows Up His Previous Work with Even More Consistency
Overall, From the Westside With Love Three is another solid addition to Dom Kennedy’s discography. The tracklist remains very consistent with production that would make any record an instant classic. The 37-year-old rapper is a hip-hop veteran, and his new ideas and concepts are a prime example of this. Providing a refined and seasoned take on rap, Dom Kennedy is presenting his best on this album. For fans of hip-hop and rap, this album should not slip through the cracks.
