Dreamville has just released two brand new singles from the upcoming project Revenge of The Dreamers III. Lead by J. Cole, the hip-hop collective brings in a large set of artists for the new singles which includes J. Cole, J.I.D, Bas, EARTHGANG’s Johnny “Olu O. Fann” Venus, Ari Lennox, Omen, and more. This latest release is an indication that the full project is set to drop soon.
Both singles have their own personality and sound. For “Down Bad,” it has a bunch of old school influences that showcases the vocals by each artist exceedingly well. On the other hand, “Got Me” is a bit slower and bends to be more R&B inspired. Because of this, the immediate take is that there is a wide range of diversity in regards to the sonic landscape they are creating for this project.
