Seltzers, Chews and Chocolates: Here’s the Top 10 Hottest Cannabis Edibles and Beverages in Massachusetts

Seltzers, Chews, and Chocolates: Here’s the Top 10 Hottest Cannabis Edibles and Beverages in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts cannabis scene is considerably different from other states. Cannabis legislation restricts brands from having more than three storefronts. Many companies collaborate more effectively because of this, and there’s huge brand variety budding as well.  This effect extends particularly towards edibles and beverages.

With so many products available, we wanted to do a study to see which were the hottest among customers and patients. We called dispensaries across the state and asked for their most popular cannabis edibles and drinks. Here’s what we found after tallying up the results.

10. Cantrip THC Seltzer

Massachusetts-based Cantrip is looking to create a “sessionable seltzer designed to enhance your social experiences.” Their big competencies are a controlled and enjoyable social drink, and they deliver quite well.

Adult-use edibles in Massachusetts can only contain a maximum of 5mg of THC. Cantrip on the other hand makes seltzers with 3 mg of THC and 2 mg of CBD. This low dose comes with a rapid onset so consumers know where they’re at and when they’re ready for another.

9. Coast Cannabis Chocolates and Gummies

Another local and family owned business in Massachusetts. Coast Cannabis has made quite a name for themselves through a very simple method: making dope, honest, and delicious products. Coast chocolate bars for one, come in a wide variety of flavors and contain 20, five milligram servings. You can find bars of dark, white, and milk chocolate with several more sub-flavors like Almond + Sea Salt and Cookies and Cream.

Coast also makes vaporizer cartridges and THC gummies. They have three flavors for the latter: mango, tangerine and wildberry. The tangerine flavor is a 1:1:1 CBD, CBG, THC option, designed for a more aware, relaxing experience.

8. Cann Infused Seltzers

Cann is a very popular CBD/THC seltzer brand that started in 2018 in California. Despite this, every single Cann product purchased in a Massachusetts dispensary is made with local cannabis. Even if MA state law was different, Cann themselves say they use only the best and cleanest locally grown cannabis for wherever their products are sold.

You can find two primary varieties for Cann products. Like the Cantrip seltzer, they offer a CBD/THC drink, except theirs is 4/2 mg respectively. They encourage their customers to start at this low dose before moving onto their 5 mg seltzer. Cann also offers these “Hi-Boy” drinks which provide all the fast-acting buzz of alcohol without any of the hangover.

7. Double Baked and Cannatinni by Northeast Alternatives

Not every dispensary has their own cultivation, and not every cultivator makes edibles. Northeast Alternatives does all three, and their homemade products are really blowing up. We’re looking at two different brand names and two different types of edibles: Double Baked Cheesecake Chocolates, and Cannatini Cocktail-style Gummies.

Double Baked is a series of bite-sized, chocolate/cheesecake bites. Some flavors include S’mores and Cake Batter. Tins dose between 90 and 100 mg of THC total with varying strains. Cannatini on the other hand has flavors like Blueberry Lemon Drop and Spicy Strawberry Margarita. Both brand names offer RSO options when available.

6. 1906 Drops – Fast-Acting, Pill-Based Cannabinoids

A lot of associates who picked up the phone had something good to say about 1906’s Drops. This is another edible company providing an accurate and controllable experience, but also a beneficial one. These pill-styled edibles make for highly practical dosing.

By combining varying ratios of THC and CBD with other herbs and adaptogens, 1906 has created what they call a “toolkit” out of their six different Drops. They are presenting a product line with this in mind, focusing on improving sleep, brainpower, stress relief, happiness, energy and arousal.

5. The Heirloom Collective Gummies

The cultivators and manufacturers at The Heirloom Collective are seeing their products in the hands of customers across Massachusetts. If you’re in the state, there’s a good chance a dispensary near you has them right now. Their connections with storefronts and geneticists can be attributed to this reach.

The Heirloom Collective’s gummies come in sleek packaging, but are very vibrant themselves. You can find a wide variety of flavors in each jar like tangerine, watermelon, and cherry. And much like the 1906 Drops, some renditions prioritize energy and sleep.

4. Levia Cannabis Seltzer

It was no surprise to find Levia in as high of a demand as it was. Between pop-ups and an active presence on social media, they’ve been able to bring their products to shelves all over the state. Levia wants their drinks to be “the best tasting social seltzer ever.”

Levia seltzers come in three flavors, each one dedicated to a different experience. The “Achieve” Raspberry Lime Seltzer is a Sativa infusion, the Berry Jam-flavored Dream is an indica, and last but not least, Celebrate is their Lemon-Lime hybrid.

2. Incredibles Chocolate Bars, Gummies, and Mints

Gorgeous graphic design and unbelievably delicious flavors are what define Incredibles. High demand and a stock that moves like a landslide are also some considerable details that sat them at second place in our survey.

Incredibles bars come in unique flavors like Mile High Mint, Peanut Budda Buddha, and Strawberry Crunch. While the gummies and mints are also moving fast, these 100mg chocolate bars are extremely popular among customers.

1. Betty’s Eddies

The product that was mentioned more than any other when we called was Betty’s Eddies. Massachusetts bud pursuers love this brand’s edibles, which appear to be made with meticulous care. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and non-GMO, in the end it’s no wonder Betty’s taffy-like chews are so popular.

According to Betty’s website, their products are handcrafted and made with locally sourced full-spectrum cannabis oil and organic fruits and vegetables. Among their variety of punny flavors are “Lime a Good Person,” “O’ My Grapeness,” and “Bedtime Betty’s” sleep-aid chews, which was also one of the most mentioned products in itself.
