I knew I had to be at every single Ekali show after seeing him for the first time during his Crystal Eyes Tour. Ekali is passionate about giving people a good show. That’s why he brings 100 percent of his energy to each show and also creates an incredible production for each tour.
I’ve seen him bring light-up cubes and pyramids along with fake plants to his previous tours and expected something similar for the A World Away Tour. So, it was fair to assume he’d be bringing a similar scale of visual production.
However, I was poorly mistaken as Ekali cranked up production all the way for this tour. The LED screen behind him stretches to almost a semicircle with lights everywhere. You literally felt like you were surrounded by light and color in synchrony with his enormous music. It was truly a sight to behold.
If you can still make it to your local tour date, I highly recommend catching him if possible! His song selection for the set was impeccable and the Seattle crowd responded vivaciously. Make sure Ekali’s on your radar when he’s in town next for his A World Away Tour. The show will definitely be one that you’ll never forget.
