While renowned names like Chris Lake, Martin Garrix, and Porter Robinson are the talks of the town, there are dozens of emerging artists that shouldn’t be missed.

A Hundred Drums

Thunderous, ground stomping sounds make up A Hundred Drums’ music and live sets. The Denver-based DJ/producer cultivates a meticulous sound, blending hip-hop, psychedelic bass, and indigenous hand drums, creating an explosive yet cohesive cadence. A Hundred Drums brings underground music to main stages, spreading modern innovative noises to the masses. She goes beyond just computer noises, bringing much-needed substance and activism to the scene.

Seemingly on every festival lineup in recent years, A Hundred Drums has hit events like Bass Canyon, Electric Zoo, and Bonnaroo this year, with Electric Zoo up next. Catch the budding artist at EZoo on Saturday, September 3rd from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM on the Levitron stage.

Moore Kismet

Moore Kismet is likely the youngest artist set to perform at this year’s Electric Zoo; and this shouldn’t be taken lightly. The Southern California-raised, non-binary artist leads the new generation of electronic music and is an influential voice in the LGBTQ+ creative community. The multi-talented audiovisual artist creates and performs an eclectic blend of bass, dubstep, and trap, which has landed them on Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list the past two years. In just a short amount of time, the 17-year-old artist has graced the stages of many festivals around the country, including Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, and EDC Las Vegas, on top of being signed to Thrive Music and UMG.

To catch Moore Kismet at Electric Zoo, head to The Landing stage at 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Saturday, September 3rd as part of the Bite This! takeover.

Hailing from Toronto, Canabliss is an all-around creative and self-taught musician. Through music, photography, and video games, she expresses her natural artistic eye and colorful palette. A rising international force in the budding bass music scene, Canabliss’ sound floats between experimental and future bass, creating a distinctive, recognizable sound. Her contagious teetering, bass-heavy sound has awarded her a solid fanbase in just a few years. She’s performed across the festival circuit at events like Global Dance, HARD Summer, and Firefly, as well as joining Liquid Stranger and Rezz on tour.

You can catch Canabliss at Electric Zoo on Saturday, September 3rd from 1:55 PM to 2:50 PM on the Levitron stage.

NotLö

One of the most exciting emerging names in bass music right now is Denver-based producer/DJ NotLö. RMR first came across the budding artist at Firefly Music Festival, who wrapped up the whole festival with an intoxicating, weighty deep bass set. We then caught her at Suwannee Hulaween for a b2b set with VEIL, full of dark and distorted sounds. Then again at Okeechobee Music Festival for not one, but two sets, including another with VEIL. Then, we finally got a chance to interview the rising artist, who further proved her passion and dedication to her craft.

NotLö seems to be endlessly touring as well as consistently engaging with her fans and the industry online. Both of which have helped her build not just a large fanbase, but an incredibly loyal one.

Catch my favorite bass artist at EZoo on Sunday, September 4th from 3 PM to 3:50 PM on the Levitron stage for the Odyzey takeover.
