Emo Nite Hit Up Seattle For Valentine’s Day At Chop Suey

Imagine being in a room with your best friends, screaming your favorite songs that you used to listen to back in high school. Also in that room is a bunch of strangers doing that same exact thing. All while having the time of your life dancing around and letting go. That is Emo Nite.

Emo Nite was started by three friends in a small dive bar in LA that has turned into a paradox. It has been able to bring together some of the best names in music together, and spots on many festivals. Also while throwing many regular events all around the country, Seattle being one of those places!

Everytime Emo Nite is in town, they’re always here for a good time and always manage to sell the show out. I’ve been to Emo Nite three times so far and they always have me coming back.

This Valentine’s Day I had the chance to go to the most recent one. There isn’t another place where I feel I can go to listen to my old favorite music and just completely let go. I don’t feel judged, I feel kinda that I’m at a place I can call home with a bunch of strangers around me doing the same thing.

I can definitely say it is one of the best events I have gone ever too, I highly recommend going, you have to try it once. They have turned Sad As Fuck into an industry. It’s full of nostalgia.
