Ferry Corsten Releases 'Blueprint' Album Trailer

Ferry Corsten Releases SciFi Thrill Story With ‘Blueprint’ Album

The name Ferry Corsten is one that is bound to ring a bell for anyone who listens to trance.

Back in the early 2000’s, he was in the top five of DJs around the world according to the annual DJ Mag Top 100 poll, and with street cred of that caliber, he has traveled the world countless times over, delivering award winning tracks that I’d be willing to bet you’ve heard somewhere over the years.

After releasing what many believed as the best trance track of 2015, his side project, Gouryella, has created beautiful sequels to such a beautiful and melodic masterpiece. As great as those creations were, it’s what he is doing next that is quite special. Ferry Corsten has completed his newest symphony of sound: Blueprint, a science fiction story communicated through music, which is unique in both its concept and execution.

Themed after timeless stories by Jules Verne, HG Wells, and the like, Blueprint delivers a touching story of a man falling in love with an artificial intelligence.

What is surprising, though, is that the album contains narration between each track to delicately paint the story, while the music allows for your body to feel what words cannot articulate. Teaming up with David H Miller, the acclaimed screenwriter of House of Cards, and Hollywood actor Campbell Scott, Ferry Corsten has made a gem that redefines the direction of big room trance.

Not only is he delivering his fifth album, he is also going on tour, and stopping by Foundation Nightclub in Seattle on Thursday, May 25th! This is a show you DEFINITELY won’t want to miss.
