The days of warm summer nights are sadly coming to an end an it’s time for us to face the truth, summer is just about over. While most of you may be sitting at home thinking all hope is lost, we have better news…

Here are five September events to counter that post-summer depression across the PNW:

Burien’s Lantern Festival and Procession (9/12) – Join other magically dressed festival goers and escape for a night at Dottie Park. Get lost among performers, face painters and music. It’s free and the procession starts at 8pm.

Snohomish Zombie Walk (9/20) – Calling all Zombies and ghouls to Downtown Snohomish for a friendly (or not!) visit. In preparation for the impending Zombie-Apocalypse, organizers ask that all participants and spectators bring “rations for the survivors”. (to benefit the Snohomish Food Bank) The walk starts at 5pm.

Michelmasse Festival (9/26-27) – The lord of Camlann invites you to attend his festival, with cider pressing, puppetry, music, crafts, archery, and minstrels. Come to Somersetshire, ancient realm of Arthur the king, as our morning trumpet & charter proclamation open the village gates upon the colorful world of Chaucer’s England in 1376. Somersetshire is located in Carnation, WA.

Admission ranges from $6-10 but you can also buy a feast ticket for $45. Reservations are taken via postmark for this event. More info is available here.
