Florida Edible Review: Milk Chocolate From Müv Cannabis Dispensary in Merritt Island

Cannabis has been medically legal in Florida since 2014, but it wasn’t until August 2020 that edible marijuana became legal in the state. With the demand knowingly high and the pandemic in full force, dispensaries rushed to be the first few to offer edible products. One of the first dispensaries to deliver was Müv, who featured as #2 on our list of top Florida dispensaries. As a Florida MMJ patient, I had the opportunity to try out the Milk Chocolate edible from Müv. I was very impressed, but their Wana Soft Chews definitely surpass the chocolates in terms of flavor.

Müv Milk Chocolate in Florida Review

I’m definitely the type that prefers brownies over straight chocolate, but Florida dispensaries are lacking gluten-free doughy treats. The Milk Chocolate had to suffice this time. My first Florida medical edible experience with the Wana Soft Chews set the bar pretty high. Müv’s Milk Chocolate didn’t necessarily push that bar further, but it certainly gets close to hitting it.

Texture and Flavor

Only hints of cannabis made it through the rich milky cocoa flavor, but don’t let that fool you. Each square holds 10mg of THC. The package advises that dividing in half is an option (5mg), and even makes it easy to split with a score through the middle. The texture is similar to widely manufactured chocolates. It is definitely less artificial tasting, though.

Overall it has a pretty natural taste and doesn’t contain any crazy ingredients. Both the Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate are gluten-free, but only the latter is vegan.

More details on Milk Chocolate from Müv

Chocolates from Müv come in packs of 10, individually wrapped chocolate squares. This totals to 100mg of THC in the whole package, which costs $25. They do not come as strain specific or even categorized so the effects can be a wild card. After a few hours, I can say that next time I would likely take the Milk Chocolate from Müv earlier in the day and spend a few hours being creative, with some relaxation to follow.

Müv’s website states that the chocolate does not need to be stored in the fridge. While this may be true, because we’re in Florida I believe it is the best option to keep it somewhat cold. Regardless, you’ll get a crispier, more satisfying bite if stored in the fridge, or even the freezer.

Conclusion

For my first dispensary chocolate experience ever, I would certainly say Müv left me pleased. I am curious to try other cannabis chocolate in Florida, but I also wouldn’t mind going back for more of the same chocolate from Müv.
