Food Junkie Review – Wingstop Bellevue

Originally my friend and I were going out for Chinese Food but we ended up getting wings instead. I’m not exactly sure how I went from wanting Chinese Food to wings but I choose not to question my BBQ cravings.  Coming from the south, I was very skeptical about a chain restaurant like Wingstop that claimed to have good wings. I mean that’s like saying you go to Hooters for the food.

It took us about 20 minutes to get our food since we were third in line. They had a wide range of flavors but I don’t like spicy so we went for the sauces that don’t make your eyes water. The BBQ was at a 2 pepper spicy level on the menu but I didn’t think it was spicy at all. It was everything a BBQ wing is supposed to be: full of flavor, messy and easy to eat. I’m not going to say it was the best wing I’ve ever had but it had enough flavor to satisfy my craving. The Garlic Parmesan on the other hand, was amazing. My friend thought it was good but said he could only eat them in a small quantities. I on the other hand could have eaten them all day. Personally, I don’t think there is such a thing as too much garlic.

The rest of the Bellevue restaurant was pretty bland. The people that worked there were nice and added their own flavor but you could tell it was still just a chain. I will definitely be going back, but next time I’m just getting the garlic parmesan.
