On Friday, February 7th, Los Angeles-based artist Franskiiz released his latest single “MAYBACH.” The dude took care of everything himself; vocals and production. This track is a prime example of the atmospheric moods Franskiiz is capable of creating in his music. The openness and instrumentation in this song make it the perfect song for any occasion. As his first single release of this year, Franskiiz is setting the bar for the type of energy he will create throughout 2020.

Originally from Hawaii, Franskiiz is a 20-year-old emerging singer, songwriter, producer, and engineer based in Los Angeles, California. Franskiiz came into playing music at a young age. He grew up classically trained in the violin and piano and utilizes them heavily in his music. It’s this versatility that allows him to create large environments within his mixes. While simultaneously creating a connection between the music and the listener.

“MAYBACH” strikes a stable balance between relaxing and energetic. The soft melodies and soft chord patterns create a vast open atmosphere full of color. The melodies accompanied by the bouncy trap percussion complement each other to create a great contrast between relaxing and energetic. This contrast makes “MAYBACH” the song for any occasion.

Franskiiz is known for his emotionally driven melodies in his production. He’s able to create particular moods through his music that are recognizable in every track throughout his discography. It’s this versatility and 100% control in the music that allows Franskiiz to create these different moods while following a specific style/theme that can be distinguished simply by ear. With the rate he’s going in his music career at the young age of 20, it’s clear Franskiiz has the potential to reach millions.
