Funk Volume in Seattle: Hopsin x Dizzy Wright x Jarren Benton x DJ Hoppa

Rap doesn’t get much more real than Hopsin or Dizzy Wright. They spit real bars about real topics and they do it over really dope beats. Watch and listen to the music that each of the Funk Volume members releases and you’ll understand right away that these two particular guys speak their mind in ways young people can relate to. I recommend you start with Hopsin’s Youtube first, then hit up Dizzy Wright’s after. Ever since the homie showed me Hopsin’s ‘Sag My Pants’ track back in 2012, my musical choices have been more about substance than bull$hit.

People love the energy brought about by the Funk Volume team and that’s why I won’t be missing out on their show here in Seattle.On September 16th, the emerald city will be hosting Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton, DJ Hoppa, and a few more special guests for a night filled with some of the dopest lyricism and vibes that you’ll ever experience at a concert. I am 200% confident that Funk Volume will sell out Showbox Sodo and have the crowd screaming for one more song at the end of the night.

I was at Hopsin’s show last year at Showbox Sodo and the dude was literally standing on top of the crowd spittin’ before being pushed back up onto the stage. Dizzy Wright’s last show out at Neumos was dope but Neumos tends to kill the vibe for rap shows these days. I would anticipate this Funk Volume Tour being way more wild since DJ Hoppa and Jarren Benton are also on the lineup.
