Gifted Gab and Draze will be performing at the Through the Eyes of Art event at MoPop on Friday, February 1st to kick off Black History Month. The BrandKings have teamed up with MoPop to create an annual event that supports art as a platform to talk about issues that are affecting the Black community. Aside from the musical performances, this event will also host dance, spoken word, and visual art as well.
Both Gifted Gab and Draze have been at the forefront of the Seattle hip-hop community for years, and it’s amazing to see them representing such an important event. Aside from their performances, there will also be additional Seattle based artists performing through various art forms as well. Through the Eyes of Art cannot be missed because events like this bring the entire community together, and the importance of this cannot be understated.
