New cannabis brands pop up in Washington all the time, but when I found out the Slab Mechanix crew was whipping up flower too — reviewing them for this year’s West Coast Weed Tour became a no-brainer. Slab Mechanix has a great reputation for extracting excellent cannabis oil and their flower is going to garner a similar reputation with offerings like the Gluelato strain.
This Gluelato strain was released under the Agro Couture brand name. An interesting and completely new take on a legal brand in my experience. The graphics are simple and bold, relying on a classic black and gold color-way and a lot of glass to show off their immaculate flowers. These flowers pass the eye test in every way — from he the purple highlights down to the highly visible trichome coverage.
The Gluelato strain is incredibly memorable. The Gelato and Gorilla Glue flavors are both present through various stages of smelling and smoking these flowers. It’s a perfect blend of flavors. The strain hits you quickly. It’s a powerful and euphoric feeling that makes you smile and make it quite difficult to stay on task, which makes it perfect for your nightcap.
