Grease Monkey from GreenRush is an Indica dominant hybrid bred from Gorilla Glue and Cookies and Cream. The Cookies and Cream strain shares genetics with Girl Scout Cookies, another strain known for quality and consistency.
I’ve got a decent amount of experience with concentrates from GreenRush, but no experience with their flower. Packaged in a glass jar, the aroma of Grease Monkey is honestly what intrigued me the most. A strong smell of fresh-baked bread with a subtle vanilla undertone creates an enticing smell.
Dense groupings of buds clung to the stem. Each nug felt solid and none of the cannabis crumbled off. Even the trichomes stuck on for the most part.
Strong orange pistils scatter across the nug, mixing in beautifully with the gleam with trichomes. The visual appearance of Grease Monkey along with the nose are both of the enticing factors for this strain.
An almost gassy vanilla flavor paired with a little bit of pepper tickled my taste buds. The high hit me more in the head than I had anticipated. I took rips off my bong and felt my head become heavier. Thoughts were hard to keep track of and I quickly felt the need to kick my feet up and relax. A relaxed feeling enveloped my body throughout the high as I reflected on the weekend.
