Get Involved With Green Fiction's Soundtrack

Hip-Hop Artists Can Get Involved With The Green Fiction Soundtrack Featuring DJ Khaled

Music can elevate visual storytelling to another level and attract people to something they otherwise wouldn’t have watched. Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse’s soundtrack brought the story to your ears long after you left the movie theater. Tj Walker will harness the power of the Pacific Northwest-based rappers and MCs to create a resounding hip-hop project for the Green Fiction soundtrack.

The first track was produced by DJ Khaled and features quick-tongued lyricists in Zito and Shadyous representing Portland, Oregon. “O’Shea” mirrors Green Fiction’s pilot “Supreme.” Dirty cops throwing proverbial hands with drug narcos while smoking super powered weed, well this song fits that vibe like a diamond encrusted chain around Khaled’s neck.

Crime-ridden lyrics wrapped in Khaled’s top-shelf production gives listeners a taste of the quality and tone of Green Fiction’s series premiere. The remaining episodes will all have one or two songs crafted around their specific episodes to expand the overall Green Fiction experience.

“You ain’t gangsta you’re just coked up, I know the difference”

This is just a taste of what Walker has in store for the rest of the soundtrack. Other planned tracks will feature the rap hall of famer E-40 as well as Glasses Malone and many more to come. Walker is planning a full 16 song album is currently looking for more local artists to lift this project into something special and truly representative of Green Fiction’s raw stoner tone.
