Music meets imagination at Chicago’s Heatwave music pop-art festival. It’s this Saturday, July 16th, and Sunday, July 17th, 2 pm-10 pm at Douglass Park Chicago, Illinois. Music will include dance-pop and other mixed house genres. So, artists Frank Walker, RL Grime, Yellow Claw, Above & Beyond, and more will perform at this festival. There will also be a variety of vendors, artisans, booths, and art for sale at the festival! So stay tuned.
Chicago’s Heatwave music pop-art festival will have 3 different ‘environments’. These different environments will be the three different parts of Douglass Park. “The Inevitable,” is inspired by famous pop art artist Andy Warhol. Next is “The Reverie,” inspired by various comic book art. The final ‘environment’ is inspired by artist Ravensburger’s work and is called “The Radiance.”
