Helga Arvesten Releases Another Blistering Pop Single “Don’t Speak”

Helga Arvesten is a young, Swedish born artist who, because of her father’s career, spent many of her younger years moving from country to country. Helga moved to Sri Lanka when she was only six, living there for a year before moving to South Africa for six years, then to Laos for three.

In 2009 she was accepted to study at the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Academy in the US, with a partial scholarship. After graduating there, she returned to Sweden and went on to study at several academies of art, building her skills in musical composition, visual art, and music business.

Helga Arvesten – “Don’t Speak”

Helga Arvesten is easily recognized for her unique voice and deep emotional overtones, which draws its listeners in with raw depth and evoking spirit. The passion that Helga delivers in her music never fails to convey a strong message. Her intense and sometimes odd productions go hand in hand with her tactful vocals.

Helga’s “blistering pop” style has been described as similar to the sounds of Kate Bush, or Bjork. If you enjoy this song, you should also check out some of her other latest singles, “Lightning Strike,” and “Naked.”
