Michigan’s (I)deal Releases New Music Video For “Natural Man” Ft. Luv Malitia and Produced By Pooney

(I)deal, an emerging rapper in Michigan recently released his newest music video ‘Natural Man’ ft. Luv Malitia and produced by “Pooney”. In the video, you’ll see Ideal and Luv Malitia walking through Ideal’s cannabis farm which is the perfect introduction because he is opening up his very own dispensary later this year in Michigan.

Across Michigan, (I)deal is known to many as the frontman of the band Midwest Hype. Recently, he decided to expand his creative work to pursue his own music and cannabis industry projects. He grew up in Gary, Indiana right outside of Chicago and describes his music as “real authentic hip-hop” using original beats and rhymes.

Some of the legendary rappers that influenced (I)deal and his passion for music are Nas and Jay Z. He’s been involved in the cannabis industry for over 10 years, working with weed for pretty much his entire life.

The Vibes Behind “Natural Man”

(I)deal recently released the new music video for “Natural Man” which really consists of ‘organic reggae vibes’. The idea behind the song sends a message that encourages his fans to fight for what you believe in. “Natural Man” is nothing short of inspirational. His verses incorporate what’s going on in the world with the many emotions that come along with it.

My verses are political and heavy…while you’re out here fighting for what’s yours and what you deserve, you gotta make sure you take care of yourself mentally and physically. If you’re not where you need to be 100%, you’re not going to be able to help other people. You’re the most important thing that you’ve got, so remember to take care of yourself. (I)deal

(I)deal’s girlfriend, Amanda Alaniz, is the creative/artistic director for his brand and she created this electric visual for “Natural Man”:

”Natural Man” Visual Created By Amanda Alaniz

He beautifully paints the picture that everyone is going through similar tough challenges in terms of police brutality, poverty, and the prison structure. His motives are to paint an “ideal picture of the world” we all want to live in, but unfortunately it’s not anyone’s reality.

This art is a modern representation of the difficult times we live in and is explicitly for the people, “an anthem for the outcasts and the misfits.”

“Natural Man” is also (I)deal’s first solo EP.

“I’ve been rapping my ass off since I was a little kid. This is my first time really stepping outside of my band.” he shared.

Now that things are gradually coming back to normalcy, (I)deal was recently able to play his first show back with his band in Indianapolis with another band called Tropidelic.

It was a huge release and weight off my shoulders, (I)deal expressed.

What’s Next For (I)deal

On top of opening up his own dispensary, (I)deal will be releasing his EP “Scatterbrain” on his birthday July 10th. And, Midwest Hype’s full length LP will be out July 31st. They’ll be touring and releasing music videos the whole summer.

This artist without a doubt has huge plans for the summer, and we’re thrilled to see what else he has in store. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!
