Iron Horse Brewery is located centrally in Ellensburg, WA and has been producing hand-crafted ales since 2004. Father-son team Greg and Gary Parker have turned the brewery and pub into staples of the small city. They maintain 51 employees, and produced just under 24,000 barrels of beer in 2017.
“Mocha Death,” a seasonal favorite from the brewery is now available in 6-packs of 12oz cans. This brew is a mix of their classic “Irish Death” with cocoa and espresso from fellow locals, D&M Coffee Roasters. This strong, dark coffee beer has only ever previously been available on tap or in 22oz bottles.
Iron Horse is celebrating the release of this beer in a can with a contest to win a kegerator from them packed with goodies. The contest is running from now until November 15th, so time is running out! Two grand prize winners will receive a kegerator stuffed with merch, 50lbs of coffee, a grinder, and mugs. They’re aptly calling this their “PNW Toolkit.”
Anyone 21+ can enter the contest by texting “PNWTOOLKIT” to short-code 313131. Or by heading over to the website they’ve set up for the contest which gives you a number of ways to enter. The rules for the contest are simple, and all the details can be found here.
The creative concoctions from IHB are available in 22oz bottles, 6-pack cans, and on-tap all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. Those looking to find the nearest establishment that carries their flavorful brews should click here.
