J. Cole continues his rise to the top with his newest single “Middle Child.” Coming from a very casual J. Cole fan, this song is incredible and a good reminder why J. is revered as one of the game’s best hip-hop stewards.
J. Cole is one of the few mainstream MC’s that can string together a filthy beat with a thought-provoking message and deliver it in a spine-shivering flow. This track makes me want to slap the piss out of my table until I spill my coffee.
J. constantly uses his platform to inspire and steer young men away from the types of messages that hold hip-hop culture back. Hip-Hop doesn’t have to glorify negativity and J. Cole consistently reminds us of that on the grandest stage.
