After a fair amount of time, J.I.D has finally dropped his new project DiCaprio 2. The Atlanta based rapper has seen his career explode throughout 2018, and with the new release all eyes are on him. The album spans 14 tracks long and has features that include J. Cole, A$AP Ferg, Joey Bada$$, and more.
J.I.D can be credited for his fast and creative flows, as he demonstrates this element throughout the entire project. This can especially be heard on songs “Slick Talk”, “151 Rum” and “Mounted Up.” While he’s known to rap over fast paced beats, he also extends is boundaries and raps over more laid-back instrumentals as well. As a result, it adds greater depth to his style and to the project.
With the release of DiCaprio 2, J.I.D has made it clear that he’s building his place in the game. After seeing a huge growth with his fan base throughout 2018, this new release will only catapult him forward even more. Check out his new project below!
