Campana And JAGA Form “Jampana” With Wavy Single “Rain On Friday”

The collaborative effort of JAGA & Campana, Jampana, has released their first single “Rain on Friday.” This track features a myriad of talent with Daniel Leong on saxophone, engineering by Jordan Santana, and mixing and mastering done by Tyler Dopps.

Finally here after much anticipation, the two artists have blessed us with their maturing sound. I love how Daniel embeds his saxophone into the track, adding a smooth sultry sound that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. This really is the perfect soundtrack to any Friday in Washington when it’s raining instead of shining.

These Seattle favorites bring the heat, with JAGA’s ability to produce as well as catch his audience with enchanting hooks to pair with Campana’s ability to spit on any beat. The two have done great work separately, with Campana’s Burner Tape EP and JAGA’s Wavpool both getting high praise and circulation in Seattle hip-hop scene.

Campana and JAGA have always come together on tracks. On any body of work from either artist, you can find some sort of collaboration. It’s fitting then that the two have formally come together to create a sound that is truly a balance between both their skills. What may come from Jampana will surely be grooving like “Rain on Friday,” which you can bump below.
