If you’re like me, you have followed Jesse McCartney since he released “Beautiful Soul” in 2004. It was everyone’s favorite bop. Let’s be honest, we were all devastated when he stopped making the music we all loved back in 2014. It’s safe to say, though, that Jesse McCartney is back and is better than ever in 2019!
Last year he made a comeback into music with his single, “Better With You.” Which brought him back onto all of our music radars. It had us reminiscing about all our favorite songs by him. He had just finished up his own headlining tour with the last stop being in Seattle. I was lucky enough to live out my childhood dream to see him live on the day before Valentine’s Day.
The Resolution Tour for Jesse was a reminder of his new year’s resolution which is to finish a whole album this year. We should see his already released singles, “Better With You,” and, “Wasted” on that upcoming album.
His whole performance was a total throwback for me. To hear all the songs I would listen to almost every day as a kid live and just to see him in person was a dream. He played all the classics of his, some being “Leavin,” “Right Where You Want Me,” “Body Language,” and “Bleeding Love,” which not many people know he actually wrote. Of course, he also played “Beautiful Soul.” Every girl in that crowd was singing their heart out more than the one next to them.
Jesse said at the end of the show that so far 2019 has been the biggest year in his career yet. There’s still so much to anticipate to come of it and it’s only February. Be on the lookout for Jesse’s new music coming out soon!
