Travis Kelce speaks at the Superbowl Parade

Kansas City Chiefs Fans Celebrate Superbowl LVII Win Over Philadelphia Eagles

On February 12th, the people of Missouri wildly celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs victory of Superbowl LVII over the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, running back Isiah Pacheco, and Head Coach Andy Reid led the team to a 3rd Super Bowl championship and the second Lombardi trophy in five years.

Highlights from this year’s Super Bowl include: Mahomes overcoming a high-ankle sprain and playing through intense pain, brothers Jason and Travis Kelce both playing considerable roles on opposing teams, and Roc Nation pop star, Rihanna, taking over halftime with a scintillating performance of 12 of her most famous hits including “Diamonds” and “Umbrella.”

Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance was extra impressive considering she just had a child recently. But nothing is more impressive than seeing her perform while also clearly pregnant with a new baby on the way. One of the most memorable moments of her performances was when she started applying her own brand of makeup in the middle of the set. Such a boss move!

The Super Bowl commercials were also once again one of the most talked about parts the game. Tubi had everyone wondering if someone had stolen the remote and changed the channel. They executed a great attention grabber and probably the most memorable commercial still even after the game.

In celebration of the historic win, the official Super Bowl LVII parade and rally were held at Union Station in downtown Kansas City. Mahomes showed off the Super Bowl trophy while wearing his championship belt. It did not take long for the young Quarterback, along with many other players such as Jones and Hardman, to interact with fans. Mahomes was seen guzzling Coors Light beers throughout the parade route. Travis Kelce also didn’t hesitate to chug some shots passed his way from the crowd. Both players ended the parade with good wishes and good luck for the next season.

Go Chiefs!
