KingDow Releases New 7-Song EP Titled “Discards”

Hip-hop has been the most popular genre of music for the better half of the last twenty years. Most of the songs we hear on the radio have their own mainstream sound and style whereas independent and lesser-known artists typically work with the tools and resources that are readily available in their environments. One of these lesser-known hip-hop artists who is leveraging their creativity to make moves as an artist is KingDow.

An artist we’ve not yet featured before, KingDow’s style of electronic-infused hip-hop is unique, mildly catchy, and 100% different. I wouldn’t say his raps are memorable but it’s clear that he definitely has fun with his music even though it strays far away from what’s considered popular.

When you think about the number of musicians that exist, there are literally hundreds of thousands (if not more) of lesser-known artists all over the world. KingDow is an artist worth checking out if you fuck with different types of hip-hop and rap music that gets you thinking about random ass shit and feeling creative. I felt somewhat inspired after the project simply because I thought it was super clownin’ that he went from rapping and rhyming to just vibing and mumble singing on a beat. I lowkey fucked with that one track the most.
