The Latin Recording Academy is gearing up to host its annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony in the city of Miami, Florida. The event will take place November 14th at the Kasey Center. Fans can expect a magical night featuring Latin music’s most accomplished artists. Over the years, this special night in music, has grown tremendously in its popularity.
Deeply Rooted
The Latin Grammy Awards has been around since the year 2000. This year will mark the third time the event will be held in Miami (2003,2020).
“It’s a true honor to host this incredible event once again and welcome people from all over the world to enjoy the vibrant and diverse cultural hub we call home. This event celebrates the very best in music, and we are proud to showcase Miami’s unique energy, where music and culture collide in the most spectacular way”, said Mayor of Miami-Dade County Daniella Levine Cava.
While some artists look to hear their name called for the first time, a select few will receive an award very few in the Latin music community have received.
“We are excited to bring to life the landmark 25-year celebration of the Latin GRAMMYs from the city we call home – the city where Hispanic culture has flourished as a driving force of influence and impact globally,” said Ignacio Meyer, President of Univision Television Networks Group at TelevisaUnivision.
