Liquid Stranger Drops New Six Song Bass Heavy EP ‘ASCENSION’

Liquid Stranger dropped a romantic gift to all the lovely couples this past Valentine’s Day. Real name Martin Stääf, recently released his newest EP ASCENSION on February 14. Following his successful album INFINITY, this is his first release in 2020, coming equipped with six ear-shattering bangers.

Stääf, a Swedish-born producer, usually classifies under the bass genre —ASCENSION is no exception. The first track “Psychonaunt” moves around to a variety of different drops and noises while maintaining a steady beat and drive throughout the entire four and a half minutes.

His second track ‘”Ascend” is less chaotic, but arguably dirtier as the rhythm delves deep in octave and feel. The following three feature tracks with LUZCID, Hydraulix, and LSDREAM.

A particularly nice touch by the artist is the final track “Over n Out.” Despite the other five tracks off the EP being bass and dubstep distinctive, the song concluding the release is rather soft. With no outstanding drops or surprises, Liquid Stranger walks you through his resolution.

His US tour started this February and is planned to continue through April. He’s taking Dirt Monkey, Hydraulix, and Inzo with him for opening support on his ASCENSION Tour.
