Macntaj - Gods Bleed

Is Macntaj In Your Top 5 in Seattle List Yet?

Macntaj – has only been releasing solo music for one month and he is already on our radar as one of the most elite emcees in the Seattle area. His solo work has been different from what he released with Slightly Flagrant, packing heavy punchlines and witty bars, Macntaj has kept things a tad bit more serious.

Blending two world’s is nothing new to the Seattle emcee.  After recently being featured on Bassnectar’s new album, he gained notoriety within the national EDM scene.  Bassnectar’s Unlimited is currently the number one EDM album in the country and was played at this years Paradiso.

In addition to hard hitting hip-hop, his Slightly Flagrant project flirted with comedic interludes and punchlines. Ever since I heard ‘My 40 it don’t miss, like Kobe in 06″ on the Cookie & Milf record, I knew Kwabe was on some other shit.

His new track ‘Gods Bleed’ is a perfect example of a rapper taking time to develop a signature sound.

Macntaj – Gods Bleed

With production by M3 and one of Macntaj’s go-to collaborators, Qreepz, this track rivals School Boy Q’s newest release.  God’s Bleed picks up where Lightwaves left off. Bars that deserve appreciation and doses of honesty and consciousness.

Macntaj is clearly on another level, but you should know by now.  If you haven’t got to witness the Flagrancy live, you can finally catch Slightly Flagrant headlining at Nuemo’s September 16th.
