Meek Mill Wants To End Beef With Drake?

Meek Mill just released his latest album Wins & Losses. As he kicked off his press run, he visited with E-Bro on Hot 97. The interview got off to a quick start as Meek Mill says he’s open to ending the beef with Drake.

It’s been two years since Meek fired off those first tweets at Drizzy. He is showing a calculated move by dropping the album on the anniversary of the beef.

As E-Bro was giving praise to Meek for showing recent maturation through his beef with Drake and his break-up with Nicki Minaj, Meek gave some insight as to what was behind his decisions to beef with the Toronto rapper.

“First of all I was on lean, I was on that shit Future be talking bout. I was sipping lean, doing percs (percocets) and all that… I’m getting high, escaping my reality… I was out of control the way I was coming at everybody”

E-Bro continued by asking Meek if he could ever see a time where he and Drake have a conversation to settle their differences.

“Eventually one day, it’ll come naturally. Everybody, a lot of people try to like force that on me. Like yo, I got my self into this – I like standing up on my own two feet, I like trials and tribulations, I come from that…nobody can’t fix this, but me or him.”

Meek also shared that reps from both sides have tried to set up phone conversations between he and Drake, but never happened because Meek wants it all to happen organically. “I’m a natural type of mover,” Meek said.

Angie Martinez also hosted Meek. There, he put it on record that he has recognized taking an L in the beef with Drake.

“I would take it as a loss…I didn’t come out on top…What I stated, I stated a FACT. I think I went about it the wrong way… The way I handled it. A lot of situations in the past two years how I handled myself was a little bit out of control. I would say I took a loss on how I handled the whole situation period.”

Meek is exemplifying “bigger person” qualities – the only problem is, I don’t believe Meek is qualified to be the bigger person in this situation. He did the lashing out, so I think Drake is ultimately the only one who can end it. Drake recently squashed his beef with fellow Toronto MC, Tory Lanez, can he do the same with Meek?
