Two of my favorite spitters from Portland connect for the ‘Jumper Cables’ music video. Mic Capes and Vinnie Dewayne have made names for themselves in the Portland scene and mesh great on one of the more turnt up jams from Mic’s Concrete Dreams album.
The Concrete Dreams album was received incredibly well and I’m a big fan of the build up and release Mic did surrounding the project. The album rolls to a certain feel and ‘Jumper Cables’ doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the tracklist, it’s still one of my favorite songs on the record. Not to say it’s too off the wall, it’s just a little heavier on the sound but Capes never lacks on substance.
