There, she represented clients such as Pharrell, Frank Ocean, Odd Future, Ke$ha, The Gossip, Swedish House MafiaAvicii, and Damian Marley.

Subsequently, Michelle joined CMG in 2013 as executive vice president to help set the creative direction of the new Capitol Music Group. Capital Records and Capital Music Group

Importantly, Capitol Music Group is famous for being the record label for the Beatles, especially between 1964 to 1967. Capital Music Group, owned by Universal Music Group, oversees the record labels assigned to UMG’s Capitol Records division.

In an effort to restructure and save an average of $217 million yearly, CMG formed in 2007 in a merger between Capitol Records and Virgin Records America. However, both Virgin Records and Capitol Records remain imprints of the record label.

Capital Records currently works with over 70 artists including big names like Sam Smith, Masego, Katy Perry, Halsey, Disclosure, and ABBA. However, CMG’s whole network includes over 280 artists. The label’s headquarters reside in Hollywood, California and its circular building is a famous landmark.
