The Midwest Cannabis Podcast Showcases The Region’s Emerging Industry


As the cannabis industry continues to grow in the United States, so does the amount of knowledge that can be shared with consumers. While places like the Midwest used to lack the resources and legal discretion to educate consumers on cannabis, those days are clearly behind us. With this in mind, Respect My Region created the Midwest Cannabis Podcast to showcase its emerging industry. 

Hosted by GP (@whoisgpatt), the series is dedicated to sharing the knowledge of the region’s cannabis industry members. Through interviews with cultivators, producers, extractors, retailers, and more, the Midwest Cannabis Podcast seeks to authentically capture the experiences of the Midwest cannabis industry. The show airs weekly on Wednesdays across RMR’s social media channels and YouTube channel. 

About the North American Weed Tour

This year marks the start of Respect My Region’s second North American Weed Tour. The campaign aims to foster conversation and connection in the cannabis industry through content like the Midwest Cannabis Podcast.

Firstly, the NAWT will include 250 podcast episodes like the Midwest Cannabis Podcast. In addition, Instagram live streams will showcase cannabis products, retailers, farms, labs, kitchens, ancillary services, and technology. Additionally, the tour will feature 500+ products, showcasing brands across every category in select recreational markets. Respect My Region will feature more than 100 industry leaders on the company’s YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch.

The North American Weed Tour aims “to reach out and establish new relationships with cannabis people worldwide,” said Joey Brabo, COO. Mitch Pfeifer, CEO added that “Scaling the tour with these new series will allow us to magnify the stories of new brands and businesses across North America even more. This year, the tour has been specially crafted to have a greater impact on cannabis brands in emerging markets; amplifying the success of industry leaders and innovators.”
