Moon Rock Review (Feat. Caviar Gold Cannabis)

As recreational cannabis takes hold across the United States, the moon rock is increasing in popularity. The materials required to make them are easier to access with recreational markets. Created using flower, oil, and kief they are very material intensive. The result is definitely worth it and Caviar Gold is supplying California with rocks.

Caviar Gold packages their product in canisters similar to what film rolls used to come in. Most older stoners also used these jars to store their cannabis. Consider their packaging a trip down memory lane. These moon rocks are beautiful.  Carefully coated in a layer of oil. I think that adds to the quality of the product. They aren’t messy or difficult to handle like some of the moon rocks that I’ve had.

There is a skunky aroma to the canister. I rolled a nug around in my palm as I examined the product. To be sure that the oil spread out to the entire bud the oil is injected into the nug to fill up all the cracks. A faint coating of kief coats the entire nug. Breaking apart a piece was simple and nothing stuck to my finger. I kept my lighter a safe distance away from the bowl as I attempted to heat the cannabis. As the oil began to heat up a sizzling sound could be heard. Each hit had a strong hash taste to it that became more appealing with each hit.
