So far, that is a yes; he is one of the most streamed artists and this is likely to continue for some time. Justin Timberlake was able to dominate the pop charts for almost two decades, and Bieber seems like he’ll follow the same path.

Ed Sheeran is another artist that was one of the top ten vocalists in this last decade. He is the number one most-streamed artist right now. The singer isn’t like most pop stars in the industry. He isn’t a dancer, doesn’t have your typical pop star appearance, and he writes all of his own songs. The general public gravitates towards his music because he has an amazing voice. It is that simple. He can sing beautifully, but he also plays the guitar just as well, making him a swoon worthy artist. The question is will he continue to release many additional albums this decade?

Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X is a pop star who bridges the gap between rap, country, and mainstream appeal perfectly. He has two number-one singles, one of the most successful albums of 2021, four top ten hits, and certified 15x Platinum with one song as of 2021. The musician is one of the most unique artists in the world right now. He breaks so many boundaries in the music industry as a proudly gay Black man who entered the public eye in two genres historically prejudicial towards the queer community. The best part is Lil Nas X has opened the door for many LGBTQ+ artists in the future.

Harry Styles
Harry Styles has been one of the most exciting pop stars since his debut. Already this decade, he has had two number one singles, two of the most successful songs of 2020, one of the most successful albums of 2020 and 2021, and there are more accolades than that. He recently released an album, and it’s already gone platinum which is pretty unheard of in today’s streaming era. His hit, “As it Was” is the number one song in the country right now and has spent 13 weeks in that position. Though he has been relevant for 12 years, he has only been a solo pop star for five of those years. His popularity, beloved sound, and iconic image will lead him to success for years to come.

Finally, the last pop star that significantly influences this current decade is The Kid LAROI. He makes music in the pop-rock/emo-rap lane and even released a number one album. Plus, he has one of the most popular songs last year with “Stay,” featuring Justin Bieber reaching #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs Year End Chart. The song also happened to be the quickest to surpass one billion streams. At only 18 years old, he has already won 16 awards. It’s safe to say, he’ll probably have quite a long career.
