Get ready for high powered performances by Nahko and Medicine for the People as they make their way through the Inland and Pacific Northwest. In the midst of their Take Your Power Back Tour, they will be performing through; Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. The shows begin on Thursday, August 1st at the Summer Meltdown Festival in Darrington, WA.
Nahko and Medicine For The People
Nakho Bear is a musician, songwriter, and lead singer of the band. He is a Portland, OR native and at a young age, he moved to Alaska eventually settling in Hawaii. Here is where his band found their first success through brilliant songwriting with a powerful message in each tune. They have grown exponentially over the years have performed all over the world, including many festivals.
The band’s performances are captivating as Nahko sings and jumps back and forth from guitar to piano. Watch out for Max Ribner as he gets down on a unique trumpet and provides amazing melodies. Tim Snider rocks an electric violin and Pato absolutely shreds on the bass. An extremely talented group.
Nattali Rize
Nattali Rize will be at most of these show locations and will be the opening act. She is known for her soulful voice, combined with, conscious lyrics. She will most certainly bring good vibes to start the night.
