Breaking News Report: Dank’s Wonder Emporium Raided Last Night

Reports surfaced on social media yesterday about Dank’s Wonder Emporium getting raided. A Facebook post came across a feed sent to me mentioning van’s and unmarked cars outside of one of their retail locations with boxes being carried out. There is no official word or news report at this time.

We will update this post as news comes in. Speculation around the raid has been chalked up to their progressive digital marketing that includes YouTube ads and on-camera consumption. The LCB has made it clear that they are tightening things up with their recent edible regulation additions and event restrictions.

UPDATES:

Their license is fine and the store is open with no LCB tickets
No warrants were served and no one is charged
An upstairs suite in the building was raided (a private suite)
LCB participated in the approval of space. LCB Officer Alex Everson helped set up the disclaimer on all videos
The LCB has visited the space and seen videos filmed in that area
Cops took ALL cameras, hard drives, and glass pieces in space
Awaiting word from laywers
