Nicki Minaj announced the collaboration on Instagram Live during an episode of her Queen Radio. The live was also joined by Lil Wayne. Leading up to it she teased the announcement stating on an Instagram post, “🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨There’s something I urgently need to share w/ you guys.🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨I’ll go LIVE on IG THURSDAY @ 10:30PM EST⏰⏰⏰ No, I won’t be late. After the announcement and right as the song was about to release, the two posted a video lip synching to the track. They’re sporting bright pink and red hair, exuding their confidence and excitement for the long anticipated collaboration. They’re both ecstatic to say the least, with BIA saying on Instagram, “WOW THE QUEEN IS REALLY ON THE F*CKIN REMIX IM SCREAMING @nickiminaj [emojis] #WHOLELOTTAMONEY #SONGOFTHESUMMER #tiaandtamera #GODISGREAT.”
