Nipsey Hussle’s murderer Eric Ronald Holder Jr. has been found guilty of first-degree murder determined by a Los Angeles jury. As a result, he’s expected to spend his life in prison upon the conviction. The late rapper was tragically shot 10 times in front of his Marathon Clothing store on March 31, 2019. Over three years later the final decision has been made on what to do with his killer.

The jury’s decision brings answers and justice for what happened on that tragic day. Originally reported by KTLA 5, it was already known with evidence that Eric Ronald Holder Jr. killed Nipsey Hussle. However, the purpose for the jury was to determine if the murder was a reaction in the moment or premeditated attack on the late rapper.

What makes the situation both terrifying and different is that Nipsey Hussle and Eric Ronald Holder Jr. knew each other for many years. The situation stemmed from Nipsey Hussle addressing he heard that Holder was allegedly being called a snitch. This later lead to Holder opening fire shortly after the interaction.

The late rapper was undoubtedly a west coast legend. From releasing his first mixtape Slauson Boy Volume 1 in 2005 to his album Victory Lap receiving a grammy nomination in 2019, his absence has been greatly missed. During his career he collaborated with the top artists in music including Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, YG, and more.
