I honestly don’t know what goes on east of the Cascades. I just know that the last time I drove through Eastern Washington, there were only two kinds of stations on the radio: country music and a reading of the Bible. Now there’s nothing wrong with jamming to a little Willie Nelson, or getting in touch with your spiritual side, but where’s the love for my fellow bass music lovers?
If you need your trap-fix satisfied, or you want to delve into the mystifying world of twerking, I highly suggest you head out to Swaxx in Spokane on January 30 for Twerk Circus, featuring Party Favor, Meaux Green, not to mention local favorite DJ Beauflexx. The Twerk Circus tour made its way through Seattle last October, and is now rolling through Spokane to give the east side a chance to throw down.
Both Party Favor and Meaux Green are artists on Diplo’s label, Mad Decent. Party Favor has been blowing up lately in the bass music world, receiving praise from big-name artists like Skrillex, Diplo, Borgore, the Far East Movement and many others. Meaux Green has also blow up over the last year or so with his collaborations and remixes being some of the biggest supported tracks from other major artists of the past year.
I had the pleasure of getting my wiggle on to DJ Beauflexx’s set at Resolution earlier this month and I think you should not skip out on this opportunity to do the same. Expect his set at Twerk Circus to be impressive as he celebrates his Dirty 30. Happy Birthday Beauflexx!
