#NWnightlife: Crizzly’s Real Thugz Tour Coming to Seattle

The first Crizzly song I ever heard was his remix of “Chain Hang Low” at Paradiso 2012. I don’t remember who dropped it, but as an electronic-music novice, I remember thinking, “I don’t know what this is, but it’s filthy and I love it.” It might have even been my first instance of “going hard.” And guys, you never really forget the first time you go hard.

I didn’t actually see Crizzly play a set until Freaknight 2014. This time I knew what I was in for and I still ended up throwing my back out. Let me tell you though, it was definitely worth it.

If you’re into dubstep, trap, crunk, and flailing your body in ways that may cause you to hurt yourself, I highly recommend you check out Crizzly tonight, April 10 at the Showbox presented by USC Events. Antiserum and Laxx are also on the bill to make sure Seattle gets so much bass that the strip club down the block will feel it.

(On a side note, you should visit that strip club after the show is over; bring Crizzly’s crew too. Not that I work there or anything.)

Tickets are available online or at the door. If you just got a tax return, this show is definitely how you should treat yourself. If you need further convincing, check out Respect My Region’s Crizzly playlist below.
