Though still pretty new in the festival world, Okeechobee Music x Arts Festival by Insomniac and Soundslinger has quickly made a name for themselves. Taking place in the Sunshine State of Florida at Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, this festival offers an incredible and immersive creative experience. This festival, which also offers camping, starts on March 3rd, 2022 and ends on March 6th. With Okeechobee Music x Arts Festival taking place in early spring, the weather is bound to be perfect.
Okeechobee Music x Arts Festival hosts artists from various genres including EDM, pop, hip-hop, rock, and more. The entertainment doesn’t stop at the performers. There is also a huge visual art aspect of the festival. Many local and traveling artists will be there showcasing and selling their art. Also throughout the venue you’ll find sculptures and immersive art experiences.
Features of the festival include lush settings, parties and performances at Aquachobee Beach, dusk-til-dawn dancy parties at Jungle 51, pop-up performances in Chobeewobee, and of course, amazing food!

The lineup for 2022 has not been released yet, but based on past performers, it is certainly going to be a good one. In 2020, performers included Rüfüs Du Sol, Bassnectar, Mumford & Sons, Glass Animals, Gunna, MGK, and so many more amazing artists.
Insomniac’s founder Pasquale Rotella said, “After this long year, I couldn’t be more excited to return to Sunshine Grove and be back in nature with all my Okeechobee friends and fam. This festival is all about music, camping out, and making s’mores while dancing in a jungle, grass fields, and on a beautiful beach. It was the last festival I attended before the pandemic hit so I can’t wait to be back!”
Okeechobee Music x Arts Festival in 2020 was actually one of the last festivals to take place before the pandemic, taking place March 5-8. Though the 2021 festival had to be skipped, OMF has successfully held four festivals since 2016.
