Pemberton Music Festival Lineup Announced!

So the beautiful British Columbia’s Pemberton Music Festival lineup was announced on April Fools’ Day and I’m wondering if it’s all a dirty trick. This lineup is basically my entire playlist on my stolen iPod. I didn’t steal the iPod; my iPod was stolen, just to be clear. But I digress, this lineup is insane.

Cole, Tiësto, Kid Cudi, Hozier, The String Cheese Incident, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Banks, Matt & Kim, Duke Dumont, Galactic featuring Macy Gray, Paul Oakenfold, Bleachers, BadBadNotGood, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, Flux Pavilion, PartyNextDoor, Jack Ü, ASAP Ferg, Hundred Waters, Tycho, Kid Cudi and Zeds Dead.

Crazy, right? I have mixed CDs from high school of Kid Cudi songs, and several NOW! That’s What I Call Music CDs with Missy Elliott songs. Kendrick Lamar is my current hip-hop jam. Tiesto and Jack U been on my EDM bucket list for forever and you may not know this about me because I talk so frequently about dance and booty-bouncing music, but I dabble heavily in more indie and alternative genres as well; I would definitely check out Hozier, Banks, Ryn Weaver, and CHVRCHES.

This festival also features a comedy stage with Reggie Watts, Tim and Eric, Cheech and Chong, Tig Notaro, T.J. Miller, and Doug Benson.

Pemberton Music Festival, occurring in Pemberton, BC, runs from July 26-29 and Early Bird tickets for both General Admission and VIP are already sold out! Tickets are currently running for $279 GA and $999 VIP and $1499 Super VIP. Yes, it’s pricey but payment plan options are available and I have a full-time job now, so suck on that, debt collectors.
