Petit Biscuit Sells Out Showbox Sodo (Recap)

I was introduced to Petit Biscuit when he had released his single, “Problems,” featuring Lido. Then when he put out his debut album, Presence, I immediately became a fan. Although it’s obvious that age and talent don’t correlate, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the music that Petit Biscuit was making at 18.

The first time I saw Petit Biscuit live was last May at Sasquatch! Music Festival. I was so excited to see him perform and he blew me away. He set was completely live as he played on a launchpad, keyboards, and an electric guitar. However, it was such a huge and rowdy crowd, so I couldn’t properly enjoy his set then.

When I heard that the young French producer will be back on the road in America with a Seattle tour date, I was ecstatic. Especially with Manila Killa as an opener, I knew I had to go. Looking back, I’m glad that I did because it was an incredible show. Petit Biscuit had kept a large portion of his set the same in terms of production, visuals, and setlist. He did bring new elements into his show, including COblasts, string confetti, and new tracks/remixes. As a result, it was a refreshing experience seeing him play again despite the first time at Sasquatch.

Petit Biscuit is a talented artist on the rise. I highly recommend fans of soft EDM listen to his music, and see him at his next Seattle show.
