Raising a child is a very much a PG-rated and highly interactive job. For many parents, a ton of stress and anxiety can come with this role. To separate, work and play; I have often found that in order to focus only on the kids’ playtime experience, cannabis beforehand typically helps.
A quick 10 minutes for a smoke break or edible break really helps me to get into character. You might be asking yourself, “what strains would be the best for during playtime?”

Tangerine Power: This is a wonderful hybrid that smells and tastes very citrusy. The strain had a euphoric motivated creative head high, no couch lock, and also super energetic. This is seemingly an ideal strain for craft projects, playing engaging outdoor games or even an afternoon of board games.
Super Lemon Haze: With a sweet and tart zesty lemon smell and an uplifting high, this might be the bud to smoke while helping with that lemonade stand they keep bugging you about. With a very focused cerebral high, you might have a great idea that they will never forget.
Alice In Wonderland: A very earthy floral smell and a floral flavor, this strain could very well help feed the same curiosity that took Alice down the rabbit hole. Great for science projects or anything educational you want to do where you both can learn more.
Space Queen: Typically a sticky sweet, skunky aroma, with a very subtle berry flavor. It gives a great spaced out feeling. I find this strain to be awesome for coloring or puzzles when you can really space out and get into the activity. This helps you be more in the activity and less about all the other distractions there can be to take over the attention they need.
Huckleberry Pie: Smelling and tasting ever so slightly as the berry its named after, this sativa dominant hybrid is great for hyperactive days at the park. It gives a nice boost of motivation and has a nice lasting high that I would suggest for your favorite playground or puddle jumping in the rain.
Take every chance you can to play with your kids. They will not be little forever, and you won’t always have the opportunities to play with them. Soak up all the time you can get while you can. One day you’ll only get to remember what playing with them was like.
