Two of the biggest names in hip-hop have linked up for a new single titled “Sunflower”, which can be heard in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The mid-tempo synth driven track showcases Swae Lee and Post Malone in their most comfortable artistic places. As a result, we are given a track that showcases the authentic sound of both artists.
Even though both artist’s names are on “Sunflower”, there isn’t much crossover between their two parts. The song is mostly split with Swae Lee singing on the first part and Post Malone singing on the second half.
With a rather simplistic instrumental, both artists are given complete creative control as their verses move freely over the beat. The element fits both of their styles well, as most of the emphasis is shown through the lyrics. Check out the new song and video below!
